Awareness Campaigns as an Element of the Compliance Program
An underappreciated yet important aspect of a corporate compliance and ethics program relates to how the purpose, goals and features of that program are made known to the employees and agents of the organization.
An awareness campaign must take into account the desired audience (multi- or uni-national? multilingual?) and the organization's ethos. An awareness campaign can make the difference between effectiveness and ineffectiveness of the program, whether viewed internally only or by external audiences.
